I'd be glad to welcome you in our 1000 year old Oberotterbach after an advance notification by phone. Apart from cacti you can enjoy the excellent wine, exquisite Palatinate plain fare, the best Tarte Flambee, the fresh air and my fellow citizens` hospitality. Oberotterbach is at the Southern Wine Street in the south-east of Rhineland-Palatine near the French border. If you come by car from the north take the A65 towards Landau until you reach exit 17 Laundau Süd (South). There Bad Bergzabern is signposted already. Bad Bergzabern is worth seeing but you leave it on the right and continue driving towards Wissembourg (Weißenburg) / southern wine gate. On this route you'll find Oberotterbach. At the center of Oberotterbach, the so called 'Plätzel' (center), you take the Guttenbergstraße or Oberdorfstraße westwards up the hill. The third crossroad is the Eichhorngasse.If you come from the south take the A65 thru Karlsruhe in northern direction until exit 20 Kandel-Nord (North). There you follow the road to Bad Bergzabern / Wissembourg. Again you reach Oberotterbach. But as generally known: All roads lead to Rom resp. Oberotterbach. But this time not the journey is the reward but the Eichhorngasse.
